It Feels Like Summer!
May Marks the biginning of our summer season. The weather has warmed up and there are some great hatches in front of us!
The mothers day caddis hatch is pumping right now, with clouds of caddis floating around all day. pods of fish are posted up in select locations creating some unique selctive feeding behavior. there are lots of different caddis hatches we can take advantage of from now until fall.
Salmon flies (our largest resident stonefly) are just about finished in the lower canyoun, but well be chasing this hatch up river into the upper yak for the next week or so.
Green Drakes and shortwing stones will be next on the menue. i havnt seen any in the air, but when i screen for nymphs, there starting to show up in good numbers. these 2 hatches will pick up soon and run for about a month.

Every one of our trips is a custom experience. Before your trip, your guide will contact you and get a feel for your expectations, skill level and time availability. We will work with you to fine tune your experience.
Fly fishing, or conventional tackle? We're fine with whatever. Single-hand or 2-handed? That works for us! We have a deep love for all things fishing. We have decades of experience using all tackle types. The fish don't care what kind of rod you have, and we're just in it for the fun! Bring your own gear or we can provide everything.
